A community founded thirty years prior in the pre-war historic jazz district by Franklin Bluford and Rose Robinson when they discovered a number of the buildings were intact. Mayor Bluford runs the town and is the editor-in-chief of The Call, one of the two newspapers operating in the wasteland. Rose Robinson leads The Monarchs, Jazz Town’s poilce force.
Jazz Town is the entertainment center of the KC wasteland. The town is home to the Blue Room and the Gem Theater, the most popular live music venues in the downtown ruins. Jazz Town also runs the jazz radio station.
